Chimney at the backside of the former German brewery in Karlskrona. In fact, there are two high chimneys, one of about 20 meters and this one of about 30 meters.
This one of 30 meters is built of yellow bricks and in between there are black rings. It looks like the plinth on the chimney is located on top of a smaller building.

The German brewery or "Tyska Bryggaregården" was a brewery in Karlskrona between the years 1693 and 1972.
On September 11, 1693, the old shipbuilder's residence was taken over by the German brewer Philip Hinric Kraan. He transformed the buildings into a brewery and expanded with the buildings in stages. Over the years, there have been various owners and constant remodeling, but beer was still brewed. It was not until 1972 that the brewery was sold for another purpose.

Today, the buildings have been modernized and have several functions such as office hotel and conference facilities. The Coast Guard also has their training in premises at the former brewery.
