This is a bronze survey monument, located at the east end of the Newboro locks. The monument is mounted vertically in the stone retaining wall at lower northeast corner of the lock. The monument is in the first course of stone below coping, 3.96 m from northeast end of wall, facing Newboro Lake.

The monument is in generally good condition.
