Description of Memorial:
The memorial consists of two monuments, with two plaques on each side, for a total of eight. Six are devoted to the conflicts named above. These provide some statistics of the conflicts and also show timelines and photographs. Two more give names of Texans who died in uniform. A tall flagpole flying the Texas flag is in the center of the monument. An interesting feature is that the memorial also contains QR codes that can be scanned for additional information on every veteran named on the memorial.
