Stuckey CoA on a memorial to several members of that family in St Winifred's church, Branscombe.

The inscription on the memorial reads -
SACRED
To the memory of ROBERT STUCKEY Esqr. MARY his Wife, and Family of Weston in this Parish.
He was strictly virtuous and religious; as a Magistrate, impartial in administering Justice, and
ever zealous to maintain and support Truth: He died the 9th of Decr. 1768 in his 79th Year.

Mrs STUCKEY was the best of Wives and tenderest of Parents. Deeply impress'd with
the Dignity of Religion in her early years, her whole Life was an uniform act of Piety
and Virtue. As a sincere Friend she was highly respected and esteem'd by all her
Acquaintance, and her Benevolance and Liberality deservedly endear'd her to the Poor and Distressed.

After a long Sickness, which she bore with exemplary Patience and Fortitude, having
in well doing finished her Course, she departed this life to receive that Crown
of Righteousness which the Lord the Righteous Judge will bestow on thye Virtuous.
Novr 26th 1763 in the 82nd Tear of her Age.

In this Vault are also deposited the Remains of WILLIAM STUCKEY Esqr
Youngest Son of the above distinguish'd Parents, He was of a mild sweet Temper
and charitable Disposition: very learned in the Law; a most excellent Advocate
and where he found oppression invading the Rights of helpless Innocence or
unfriended Poverty, prompted by his tender Feelings, generously stood forth
to support and defend their Cause. He died in London Octr 2nd in the Year 1775 Aged 54.
