Who Put it Here?: Sunset Memorial Gardens
Description of Memorial:
The memorial is comprised of several tall sand-colored stone tablets. The central (and largest) tablet bears the text above; it is flanked by two smaller tablets. Two smaller tablets have been added over the years. All bear the names of veterans and the conflicts in which they served. Two stone benches in front of the tablets give visitors an opportunity to sit and reflect on the lives that were lost. Two tall flagpoles complete the memorial.
