Photos taken on 25 August 2021 when it was well over 100 degrees outside. Took advantage of free admission to NPS sites to visit Fort McHenry for the third time. The memorial consists of a bronze plaque. There is a tree which was planted in 1932.
The plaque says, "Commanded the Battalion of the 5th MD. Regiment that first engaged the British advance at the Battle of North Point where their general, Sir Robert Ross, was killed September 12th, 1814."
