The barn can be found on the grounds of the NRHP octagon house that was built by Loren Andrus in 1860. It is located at 57500 Van Dyke Ave, Washington, MI 48094. The quilt is a pinwheel shape of alternating red and blue rectangles with a blue border all over a red background.
Your Visit:
The quilt is in really good shape. It must have been done fairly recently. It is tucked back behind a tree and the octagon house so it is pretty difficult to see from Van Dyke Avenue.
