FR Le domaine de Notre-Dame-d’Olon (Alaunium) appartenait à l’évêque de Sisteron, qui l’échange au milieu du xiie siècle avec les Templiers contre La Brillanne.
La chapelle actuelle est construite entre 1662 et 1674 comme chapelle du couvent des récollets. Au xviiie siècle, elle est augmentée de six chapelles latérales voûtées d’ogives de type archaïque pour cette époque, puis subit d’importantes réparations au début des années 1750.
Le chœur est construit en hauteur, au-dessus d’une crypte qui s’étend au-delà des limites de la chapelle actuelle. Elle fait l’objet d’un pèlerinage après la Peste noire. En 1660, la Vierge Marie est apparue miraculeusement, et la chapelle est agrandie l’année suivante.
L’autel de la Vierge, en bois doré et peint, date du xviiie siècle et est classé. Le tableau de sainte Delphine (il porte l’inscription sainte Dauphine), date du xviie siècle et est classé au titre objet.
La chapelle abrite les sépultures des évêques de Sisteron, avec leurs gisants, dont certains ont fait l’objet d’un classement.
La crèche compte 17 santons de carton-pâte, daté d’entre 1855 et 1895.
Enfin, deux plats de quête en cuivre datant du xvie siècle sont classés, dont un portant des inscriptions gothiques, et l’autre représentant saint Georges tuant le dragon.
Sur les côtés nord et sud on peut voir plusieurs vitraux ainsi qu'un dernier, en rosace, au-dessus de l'entrée.
EN The domain of Notre-Dame-d'Olon (Alaunium) belonged to the Bishop of Sisteron, who exchanged it in the middle of the 12th century with the Templars for La Brillanne.
The current chapel was built between 1662 and 1674 as the chapel of the Récollets convent. In the 18th century, it was increased by six side chapels vaulted with archaic type warheads for that time, then underwent major repairs in the early 1750s.
The choir is built high above a crypt that extends beyond the limits of the current chapel. It is the subject of a pilgrimage after the Black Death. In 1660, the Virgin Mary miraculously appeared, and the chapel was enlarged the following year.
The altar of the Virgin, in gilded and painted wood, dates from the 18th century and is listed. The painting of Saint Delphine (it bears the inscription Saint Dauphine), dates from the 17th century and is classified as an object.
The chapel houses the graves of the bishops of Sisteron, with their recumbent figures, some of which have been classified.
The nativity scene has 17 pasteboard figurines, dated between 1855 and 1895.
Finally, two copper collection dishes dating from the 16th century are classified, one of which bears Gothic inscriptions, and the other representing Saint George slaying the dragon.
On the north and south sides we can see several stained glass windows as well as a last one, in rose window, above the entrance.
