There is a bookworm above the entrance to the Paagman bookstore at Choorstraat 1 in Delft. The three-dimensional figure, about 60 to 80 cm long, has a tapering body of a caterpillar in the rear two-thirds, which is also equipped with a candle at the rear end. The front part consists of a human torso, the bookworm holds an open book in his hands, his head is covered with a bowler hat.
At the beginning of 2018, the bookseller chain Paagman Books took over the Huyser bookshop in Delft, which had been there since 1932, and continued the business. Unfortunately, it was not possible to determine when the bookworm was placed above the door and who made it.
