[GER] Der Kirchturm der St. Marien-Kirche in Ohlsdorf-Fuhlsbüttel hat einen Oktagon-Grundriss. Es sind aber nicht alle Seiten gleich breit. Auf eine breite Wand folgt immer eine schmale Wand. Dies gibt dem Kirchturm ein zumindest in Hamburg einmaliges Aussehen. Der 47m hohe Turm steht direkt neben der 1960 gebauten Kirche.
[ENG] The steeple of St. Mary's Church in Ohlsdorf-Fuhlsbüttel has an octagonal ground plan. However, not all sides are the same width. A wide wall is always followed by a narrow wall. This gives the church tower a unique appearance, at least in Hamburg. The 47m high tower stands directly next to the church built in 1960.
