The small town of Coupar Angus is situated in the eastern part of Perthshire in the fertile plain of Strathmore. The A94 road bisects the town and passes to the north of Larghan Victory Park as it heads eastwards out of the town.
The park, a large green space with countryside to the south and east, has been well established in the town as an area for recreation. It was refurbished in 2009 along with the playpark.
The children's play area lies on the west side of the park near the entrance and car parking area and features the usual slides, roundabouts and swings, as well as a skatepark and climbing nets.
