An der rückwärtigen Außenseite der St. Stephan Kirche in Eggenburg ist dieses schöne und gut leserliche Chronogramm zu sehen. Die gesamte Inschrift lautet:

Die Buchstaben des Chronogramms sind größer als die anderen. Die gesamte Gruppe befindet sich in einem sehr guten Zustand.
"An der Außenwand des Ostchors der Pfarrkirche St. Stephan, zwischen zwei Apsispfeilern erblicken wir eine anmutige Immaculatagruppe. Auf einem gemauertern Sockel, mit einer steinerner Schlingbalustrade davor, sehen wir in der Mitte auf einem geschwungenem Steinsockel, die bemerkenswerte barocke Statue der Immaculata mit einem goldenen Sternenkranz, auf einer Weltkugel stehend und eine Schlange tretend. Am Sockel befindet sich ein reliefierter Putto mit einer Schriftrolle. An der Nischenrückwand sich zwei Puttos auf je einem Wolkenband angebracht. Die Balustrade ist mittig unterbrochen, darauf sitzen links und rechts den Eingang flankierend, je eine Putto. Ebenfalls auf der Balustrade ganz außen links, sowie ganz außen rechts ebenfalls je ein Putto mit Textkartusche. Dies ist eine Votivgabe des Steinmetzmeisters Franz Strickner vom Jahre 1721.
Der Text auf dem reliefierter Putto mit der Schriftrolle am Sockel beinhaltet ein Chronogramm und lautet: 'pura es inconceptione deigenitrix Maria!' - übersetzt: ganz rein bist du bei deiner Empfängnis, Maria, Gottesgebärerin. wobei das Chronogramm 1721 ergibt. Am Sockelfuß steht der Text: 'Ex Vot. Franc Strikner 17 R.V. 99'. Die Textkartusche an der Balustrade ganz außen links lautet: 'praetereundo cave' - übersetzt: hüte dich vorbeizugehen und ganz außen rechts: 'ne sileatur ave' - übersetzt: Möge nie das Ave Maria verstummen."

On the rear exterior of St. Stephen's Church in Eggenburg is this beautiful and legible chronogram. The entire inscription reads:

The letters of the chronogram are larger than the others. The whole group is in very good condition.
"On the outer wall of the east choir of the parish church of St. Stephen, between two apse pillars we behold a graceful Immaculata group. On a brick pedestal, with a stone sling balustrade in front of it, we see in the center on a curved stone base, the remarkable Baroque statue of the Immaculata with a golden wreath of stars, standing on a globe and kicking a snake. On the pedestal there is a putto in relief with a scroll. On the back wall of the niche there are two puttoes, each on a band of clouds. The balustrade is interrupted in the middle, on it sit left and right flanking the entrance, each a putto. Also on the balustrade on the far left and on the far right there is a putto with a text cartouche. This is a votive offering of the master stonemason Franz Strickner from 1721.
The text on the putto in relief with the scroll on the pedestal contains a chronogram and reads: 'pura es inconceptione deigenitrix Maria!' - translated: completely pure you are at your conception, Mary, God-bearer. where the chronogram gives 1721. At the base of the pedestal is the text: 'Ex Vot. Franc Strikner 17 R.V. 99'. The text cartouche on the balustrade on the far left reads: 'praetereundo cave' - translated: beware of passing by and on the far right: 'ne sileatur ave' - translated: May the Hail Mary never be silenced."
