UPDATE: In der Nacht zum 24. Mai 2023 brannte das Café Retro aus noch unbekannten Gründen bis auf die Grundmauern nieder. Ob das Café nochmals eröffnet werden wird, ist derzeit noch unklar. Siehe dazu auch den Artikel in der Nordschleswiger Zeitung.

DE: Im November 2019 übernahm Kenneth Sørensen die "Cafeteriet Lakolk" und gestaltete diese im Stil der 1960er bis 1990er um. Viele Dekorationsartikel aus dem Zeitraum bereichern das Ambiente und so wurde dann im Frühjahr 2020 das "Café Retro" mit einer separaten kleinen Spielhalle eröffnet.

Neben den typischen Mahlzeiten aus der Region werden auch Burger auf verschiedene Art angeboten. Zusätzlich gibt es eine wechselnde Saisonkarte und auch Extrawünsche werden soweit erfüllbar berücksichtigt.

Geöffnet hat das "Café Retro" täglich ab 11 Uhr morgens und schließt je nach Jahreszeit und Wochentag zwischen 19 Uhr und 0 Uhr. Am Wochenende gibt es manchmal auch Live-Musik.

UPDATE: On the night of May 24, 2023, Café Retro burned down to the ground for reasons that are still unknown. It is currently unclear whether the café will open again. See also the article in the Nordschleswiger Zeitung (German language).

EN: In November 2019, Kenneth Sørensen took over the "Cafeteriet Lakolk" and redesigned it in the style of the 1960s to 1990s. Many decorative items from the period enrich the ambience and so the "Café Retro" with a separate small arcade was opened in spring 2020.

In addition to the typical meals from the region, burgers of various kinds are also offered. In addition, there is a changing seasonal menu and special requests are also taken into account if they can be fulfilled.

The "Café Retro" is open daily from 11 a.m. and closes between 7 p.m. and midnight, depending on the season and the day of the week. There is sometimes live music at the weekend.
