As the name implies, the 1883 Land Run Historical Center is devoted to the history of the portion of northern Oklahoma that was opened to settlers in the 1883 Land Run. The mission of the museum is to allow visitors to learn from and preserve artifacts and historical information relating to the 1893 Land Run into the Cherokee Outlet, Oklahoma Territory.
