Step on the seal, and you will not graduate...at least, that's what they told us during orientation.

The University of Central Florida student union, located in the center of campus, has a rotunda with a large, tiled version of the UCF academic seal.
It is widely believed on campus that any student who walks on the seal will not graduate. They could fail that important class, forget to pay an important fee...heck, they could do everything right only for the dean to screw something up.
Of course, this also means that standing on the seal just after you graduated has become its own sort of tradition.
If you do want to step on the seal yourself, graduate first! Then, make sure you come visit it around a UCF graduation. The rest of the year, the SGA puts up velvet ropes to protect unsuspecting students.
