"The Convent was founded by Dª. Aldonza Torres Golfín, who wears her coat of arms in the left corner of the façade, and is located outside the walled enclosure. It was built between the 16th and 17th centuries in the Mannerist Baroque style.

Of its façade, the portal stands out, the work of Juan de Villoldo and Álvaro García, and finished off with a divided pediment with the image of San Francisco in a niche, on whose sides you can see the shields with the arms of the Golfín, Torres, Paredes and Riverbank."
