THE BARTON BULLDOG
This statue is a bulldog located at Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina. The bulldog is positioned with its front paws higher than its rear paws in a defensive poise and furrowed look on its face. There is a collar with spikes around its neck. A plaque in front of the base of the statue reads:
