From the very first time when Baseball was introduced in Japan, MASAOKA Shiki was enjoyed playing baseball here in the park.

He translated many Baseball terms into Japanese.

Although he is not a baseball player, his contribution for popularizing Baseball to Japanese people made him inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame.
