es: "La historia de este convento se inicia en 1636 con la fundación de un beaterío. En el año 1655 cuando llegaron tres religiosas del convento de la Encarnación de Valladolid para consolidar la fundación del convento. En 1671 se trasladaron a unas casas en la calle Gracia. Fueron los parientes de la priora, Don José y Don Lucas Aguilar y Rebolledo, quienes realizarían la construcción del convento. La iglesia se inauguró en 1688 y las obras se realizaron a cargo de José Granados de la Barrena. A mediados del siglo XIX se traslada la iglesia conventual a la antigua parroquia de Santa María Magdalena a la calle Mesones, pero será destruida. La Iglesia Conventual del Santísimo Corpus se conoce como Iglesia de la Magdalena." en: "The history of this convent begins in 1636 with the foundation of a beguinage.
