ReStore revenue pays for all Habitat Mid-Vancouver Island’s operating costs (Their office is next door) as well as money to help with local building projects. This store offers gently used furniture and all types of building supplies. They also carry used tools and some appliances on occasion. This store also runs workshops once a month to help people refresh older furniture. It also offers workshop space for rent for those who want to build something but don't have the space to do it in.
They're are also part of the ElectroCycle BC's small appliance and power tool recycling program for consumers. They also take metal items and wire for their wire stripping program.
