Minibiebs works from the idea that you can make society more fun together. You can hang your own minibieb at your home or place it at your association, school or company. What is a Minibieb?
There are no hard and fast rules for what a Minibieb is. A large room with ten bookcases in a community center is just as much a Minibieb as a small shelf in someone's garden. The point is that the Minibieb lends books to people in the vicinity or visitors to that place. And whether the 'borrowers' can choose from 100 or 5 books, it does not matter at all. It's about the idea that together you manage a place where everyone can borrow, exchange or leave books behind. So with each other and for each other.

More and more institutions are suffering from the crisis or are being cut for other reasons. For example, more and more libraries are disappearing or bookstores have to close their doors. At the same time, there are more and more initiatives by citizens for each other. Sharing a car, exchanging plants, cooking for someone else for a small fee and so on. Minibieb is in line with this movement. What could be better than sharing books with each other in a neighbourhood, at an association or company.
