The 'Land Titles Office' is a three-storey sandstone fronted government department building, built to replace the Registrar General's Office that had been built in Elizabeth Street in 1860.
The Neo-Gothic building was designed by the government architect, W L Vernon in 1908, and completed by Loveridge and Hudson the building and stonework contractors in 1913.

[I had come down to Sydney in the morning for Geocaching Event just over the road, and stayed for a Christian concert in the evening.]
