On October 30, 2021, a Stolperstein was laid in her birthplace Boskoop for Marianne Alida Hamburger. During the Second World War, the Jewish Marianne Hamburger was offered a hiding place with head teacher Nawijn at 9 Lindelaan in Zwijndrecht. On 15 March 1944 she was arrested together with two other people in hiding and Master Nawijn and deported via Camp Westerbork to Auschwitz concentration camp. Marianne Hamburger died on January 31, 1945 in Auschwitz. The stone was laid in the presence of the Hamburger and Nawijn families.
