Fort Roberdeau was built in 1778 to protect lead mining operations in Sinking Spring Valley. The site helps teach history of the area and the Colonial era.

The ground are open from 8:00am to sunset daily.

From May through October, tours are offered. Guides reenact the customs of the pioneers as they show the activities and history of the Fort.
