The village of Falkland lies in the heart of the Kingdom of Fife and is famous for its Palace. In the late 1970s the Keeper of the Palace, Michael Crichton Stuart, gave some land to the north to start a tennis club in the village. After fund raising, two courts were built and opened in 1981. A clubhouse was opened in 1991 and new all weather courts were opened in 1999.

The tree-fringed club lies on the northern edge of the village on the junction of the A912 and B936 Dunshalt Road where the entrance is located. The courts can be booked online on the club's website. An adult membership can be purchased for £2 per week.
