The Concrete Trail is a 3.9 mile trail that runs through the north-central section of the Johnson Unit of Ray Roberts Lake State Park, Valley View, TX, and this is one of several interpretive signs you'll find as you walk.

Most of the trail is a loop that goes through the Dogwood Canyon, Juniper Cove, and Walnut camping areas, passing by the old Jones family corral on the east side. There's also a spur which branches out to locations south of the corral, going all the way down to the beach.

Here, you're well into your walk on the trail, regardless of where you started. This interpretive sign, "The Cross Timbers", tells a little bit about the area of Texas where you're standing, noting some of the flora and fauna as you walk through the park.
