The Homemade Mailbox is mostly made of painted wood, with grey micro-corrugated iron for the 45° pitched roof lines, and there is a small garret attic on the top (of course). The fascia boards appear patterned, and finials are attached front and back to both levels. In between the gables is the PVC pipe placed for newspapers and magazines; with a mini wood awning above and a wood sill below the slot for the mail. A hinged wooden flap is at the rear. It is mounted on a raw square wood post.
