The plaque says, "The granite and inscription for this historical monument were contributed by the querry range in memory of Frank O Querry 1969".
Photos taken on 21 February 2021. It stands about 20 feet tall and is about 5 feet wide. It's granite, meaning it's an igneous type of rock which is common in the inland empire regions of California. As the plaque says it was sourced locally at the Querry Range.
