I was contacted by Max and 99 to attempt to 'catch' this transit of the International Space Station. I often see it from my back yard but this was my first official attempt... Success was had but only due to the specific information given to me as well as a handy app i downloaded that told me exactly where to look. In the setting sun i could see the flash the Station as it made its arc across the heavens.... I attempted to photograph it but what i could see my phone and tripod mounted camera did not. I'm sure that speaks to my evening photography skills or lack thereof. Five of us were able to watch it for several minutes as it made its transit through the evening sky almost straight above us!

Tucson data: Max at 19:39:27, 59°, -3.3 mag.

Cañon City data: Max at 20:41:30, 84°, -3.7 mag.

Flight time between two locations was 2 minutes and 3 seconds, which is about 600 miles.
