Across the Royal Gorge Bridge and a little up the hill is the Plaza Theater, a free attraction with park entrance. The Colorado Blue Spruce was named the CO state tree in 1939 and can reach a height of 40' to 60' at maturity. This particular tree is located in a rocky landscaping on the south side of the Royal Gorge.
