On the front of this Eagle Project sign is information on the Public Arts Mural Project. All around the supports of this overpass are pieces of a large mural that depicts life in Cañon City.
The back side of this sign shows the Red Canyon Area Recreation (map).

Top of sign has a Fleur-de-lis and four stars, with the words:

Walter Potter

Text on right column, back side:

This sign is an Eagle project by Walter Potter, Boy Scout of Troop 128. An Eagle Project is the opportunity for a Boy Scout to demonstrate leadership and to impact his community with a beneficial project. An Eagle Project is the main requirement for a boy to become an Eagle Scout, the highest rank in scouting. Walter Potter is a Junior at Cañon City High School and has been in Boy Scouts since he was 6 years old. He is the son of Dion & Bettina Potter, and siblings with Angel & Fred Potter (where the three are triplets). He is involved with Cañon City Soccer, Cañon City Piranha Swim Team, and the Centennial High School Swim and Dive Team. He is also a very active student in his school taking many high level classes. Other than his Boy Scout life, he is a Life Guard and Swim Instructor at the Icabone Pool during the summer. Walter hopes on going somewhere in the medical field after he graduates. For this project, Walter would like to thank Beth Katchmar, Keith Berry, Fremont Tourism Committee, Fremont Foundation, Fremont County Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Brian Vaniwarden, Brian Ledoux, Scott Extrum, Troop 128, Cañon City Engineer, the Mayor, City Council and anyone else not mentioned in the support for this project. He would also like to thank friends and family for the support, time, and dedication into this project.
