Located outside of the Maple Leaf inn at 188 S Main St, Vermontville, MI 49096 are two large wood carvings of Native Americans. The first, located in front on the sidewalk is an 8 foot sculpture of a Native American chief with full headdress. At the back entrance in the patio area is a second carving of a younger hunter Native American holding a spear with a howling wolf in front.
