DE: Am hinteren Ende der Schützenfestwiese an der Bongarder Straße in Allrath wurde von der Dorfgemeinschaft ein größeres Insektenhotel aufgestellt. In das etwa 2.2m hohe und auf etwa 1.4m mal 1.4m Grundfläche stehende Hotel hat man in die Fächer mit unterschiedlicher Höhe angebohrte Holzblöcke, Röhrenhölzer unterschiedlicher Dicke, Stroh und lockere Gräser hinter Maschendraht und Steine im unteren Bereich eingesetzt. Als weiteres Baumaterial wurden ehemalige Paletten verwendet, die auch das Dach des Hotels stützen.

EN: At the far end of the Schützenfestwiese on Bongarder Straße in Allrath, a larger insect hotel was set up by the village community. In the hotel, which is about 2.2m high and has a floor area of about 1.4m by 1.4m, wooden blocks with holes drilled into them at different heights, tubular wood of different thicknesses, straw and loose grass behind wire mesh and stones in the lower area have been used. Former pallets were used as further building material, which also support the roof of the hotel.
