Hier op het Kaaiplein is het een gezelligheid van fontein en zicht op de vissershaven, helaas is even leuk zoals het Nationaal Monument van de Belgische vissers ons leert. Het beeldhouwwerk is van de hand van Pieter de Soete. Het Vissersmonument herinnert ons de vissers die op zee omkwamen.

Here on Kaaiplein, the fountain and the view of the fishing harbour are a joy, unfortunately, as the National Monument of the Belgian Fishermen shows us. The sculpture is by Pieter de Soete. The Fishermen's Monument reminds us of the fishermen who died at sea.
