This statue of the prophet Daniel is located at Mount Calvary Cemetery on Highpoint Drive near Coal Center, Pennsylvania. The statue is near the main entrance to the cemetery, in a row of 19 statues of saints and Old Testament prophets. The statue depicts Daniel standing with a lion at his feet.

Daniel was 6th century BC Hebrew prophet who was held captive by the Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar. In the book of Daniel in the Old Testament of the Bible, the story is told of Daniel praying to God and thus being punished by being cast into a lion's den. When Daniel was unharmed by the lions, King Darius decreed that all should honor Daniel's God.
