"The instrumental part is designed by Arnold Heidenreich, but unfortunately the identity of the author of the wooden elements is unknown. This complex is the depository of a major architectural interest, since it is certainly one of the first in the territory to adopt a neo-Gothic aesthetic.

Here, the reuse of the Gothic stylistic vocabulary inherited from the Middle Ages is visible from the upper parts of the case to the columns supporting the rostrum, passing through the balustrade. While the latter two are covered with tri-lobed and quadri-lobed motifs, the positive and the large organcase have the appearance of ogival openings around which are grafted typically Gothic shapes such as hooked pinnacles or flying buttresses.

Above all, under the leadership of fervent followers of medieval aesthetics, such as the architects Charles Leroy and Clovis Normand, the installation of new instruments is part of an overall artistic program designed for the construction of a place of worship or of a partial reconstruction"

" La partie instrumentale est conçue par Arnold Heidenreich, mais malheureusement, on ignore l’identité de l’auteur des éléments en bois. Cet ensemble est dépositaire d’un intérêt architectural majeur, puisqu’il est assurément l’un des premiers du territoire à adopter une esthétique néogothique.

Ici, la réutilisation du vocabulaire stylistique gothique hérité du Moyen Âge est visible depuis les parties sommitales du buffet jusqu’aux colonnes supportant la tribune, en passant par la balustrade. Tandis que ces deux dernières sont parcourues de motifs trilobés et quadrilobés, le positif et le grand buffet ont l’allure de baies ogivales autour desquelles viennent se greffer des formes typiquement gothiques comme les pinacles à crochets ou les arcs-boutants.

Surtout, sous la houlette de fervents adeptes de l’esthétique médiévale, comme les architectes Charles Leroy et Clovis Normand, l’installation de nouveaux instruments s’inscrit dans un programme artistique d’ensemble conçu pour la construction d’un lieu de culte ou d’une reconstruction partielle"
