The Hartland Trail Network is an area on the eastern slopes of Mount Work, taking up most of the eastern half of Mount Work Regional Park. Although the trails are located within the Capital Regional District park, they're maintained by the non-profit volunteer South Island Mountain Bike Society (SIMBS).

The Hartland Trail Network consists of 84 trails with a combined length of over 46 kilometres. The trails are rated using the IMBA system, with trails ranging from Easy (green) to Extremely Difficult (double-black diamond). There's even one trail rated Proline (double-orange diamond), named "Organ Donor". More than half of the trails at Hartland are rated More Difficult (blue).

The trailhead area is located at the west end of Hartland Avenue, just outside the entrance to the Hartland Landfill. There are two gravel parking lots that combined can hold roughly 80 vehicles, a washroom/changing building, bike stands, and air.
