The small river Suseån is dammed near Boberg in the Falkenberg municipality and the difference in height of about 2m is used to generate electricity. The power plant was built in 1928 and modernized in 1961 to its present form. With the modernization, a ladder was also built for fish migrating up the Suseån. The fish can overcome the height in 8 stages via a cascade system.
