[FIN] Tanskalaissyntyisen meijerikonsulentin, agronomi Albert Voss-Schraderin piirustusten mukaan rakennettu graniittinen meijeri valmistui tammikuussa 1906. Rakennuskiveä saatiin läheisellä pappilan pellolla olevasta jättilohkareesta ja muuraussantaa pappilan mäestä.

Nykyään kaupungin omistuksessa oleva meijerirakennus tarjoaa tilat monelle toiminnalle. Sinne ovat sijoittuneet Laitilan Nuorisoverstas, puusepänliike Siti Wood, teatteritila, kankaankudontatila ja bänditilat. Kiinteistön peruskorjaus on suunnitteilla.


[EN] The granite dairy, built according to the drawings of the Danish-born dairy consultant, agronomist Albert Voss-Schrader, was completed in January 1906. The building stone was obtained from a giant boulder in the nearby parsonage field and masonry from the parsonage hill.

Today, the city-owned dairy building offers facilities for many activities. Laitila Youth Club, Puusepänliike Siti Wood, theater space, fabric weaving space and band facilities are located there. The renovation of the property is planned, but lacks money from city of Laitila.
