When you look at Google Earth you can see that it is out in the country. The houses and the farms are located at a distance from each other and also this church, Hegre Lutheran Church and cemetery, do not have close neighbors.The road along the church is the Capitol Highway which is paved, the other roads in the area are gravel roads.
Hegre Lutheran Church was established in 1896 and was created by Norwegian immigrants. The cemetery consists of about 300 graves.
