We stay in one of the stops of the red line of underground. The Red line Starts in Rashidiya, next to the airport and runs through Dubai from north to south reaching Jebel Ali.
Here there are toilets and information. You can take a bono of 1 day that costs 22 AED (around 6€)

"Dubai Metro hours are Saturday to Wednesday from 5:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. On Thursdays the hours are from 5:30 to 1:00 and on Fridays from 10:00 to 1:00. Although the above schedule is the opening of the stations, it must be taken into account that the last train leaves the first station approximately one hour before closing."
