This Veterans Memorial is located in Jeffersontown, Kentucky's Veterans Memorial Park and is one of several monuments in the park. This monument is dedicated on Memorial Day May 28th, 2007 to the U.S. Submarine Service. The monument features a Mark 14 Torpedo, which was used during World War II by American submarines.

PLAQUE TEXT:
"U.S. SUBMARINE SERVICE

The Mark 14 Torpedo was the primary underswater weapon used
by U.S. Submarines to defeat the enemy during World War II
This memorial is to perpetuate the memory of
shipmates who have dedicated their lives in war
and peace in the U.S. Submarine Service

THEY THAT GO DOWN TO THE SEA IN SHIPS,
THAT DO BUSINESS IN GREAT WATERS,
THESE SEE THE WORKS OF THE LORD, AND
