The Sanderson Centre is located in downtown Brantford, Ontario on Dalhousie Street. The Thomas W. Lamb designed building was originally called the Temple Theatre when it opened in 1919. Operating as a silent movie and vaudeville venue, the building was eventually bought by Famous Players in 1929 and operated under their Capitol brand.

The building was then bought by the city to open as a cultural centre in 1986. The building is named after the Sanderson family which aided in the restoration of the theatre. (visit link)
