Fred Lippitt Greenway Bikepath at the Hillside Avenue parking area in Johnston, Rhode Island.
The green sign is posted in a wood-framed kiosk with an asphalt shingle roof north of the path by the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council. [Pronounced: woon-AH-skwa-tuck-it] A list of "friendly reminders" along the left side: trail closes at dark, pick up after your dog, and no swimming in or eating fish from the river. The map and key fill the right two-thirds of the plaque. This You Are Here spot is indicated by a red star in the upper left quadrant. Nine other access points with maps and four additional parking areas are noted on the chart.
