"The Morro Bay Police Department (MBPD) provides 24 hours a day, 7 days a week law enforcement services to the City.

The Department is highly active in the community and helps with an annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner, the Special Olympics Torch Run, a Christmas-time Caroling Cop Cars event and we co-sponsor an annual Emergency Vehicle Show.

The MBPD enjoys a variety of programs, including a Police Volunteer Program, a Police Explorer Program, and an active Neighborhood Watch Program, all which further promote community partnership.

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
