Snoopy can be found in the upstairs World War I display area of the Museum of Flight. He is riding on the wing of the Sopwith Camel.

The plane of the Red Baron, a Fokker triplane, flies nearby.

The Museum added this display in 2016, and had a scavenger hunt which included the Peanuts character on the wing.

Snoopy is very daring here, not wearing his flying goggles, cap, and scarf. He is plush, sitting with his legs in front of him. He is so confident in this dogfight that he is facing backwards.

r.e.s.t.seekers note:
"I've just learned a lot about the Sopwith Camel. The wingspan is 28' 11", so I added a photo with likely feet marked on the wing, guessing that the fuselage is about 3 feet wide. These marks show that Snoopy is a foot tall not counting his legs which are folded in a sitting position. The plane is 8 feet tall, so even taking away the wheel assembly (maybe two feet?), Snoopy here takes up a third of the wing to wing distance, certainly over a foot."
