Tijacu National Park, covering nearly ten thousand acres, is in the center of Rio de Janeiro. It covers features as varied as Corcovada Mountain (and Christ the Redeemer) and public squares down in the city. It is one of the world's largest urban forests. The park largely divides the North, South, and West Zones of Rio from the rest of the city. Virtually every recreational activity imaginable is available somewhere in the park. The park receives about three million visitors per year.
This waymark is set at one of the park's most popular features - Christ the Redeemer, at the summit of Corcovada Mountain. However, you can log this waymark from anywhere in the park.
