The Apple Orchard is located at 1668 Highway 6, just south of Freelton. By the title, the obvious feature is apple picking, admission to the orchard is $8.85 plus tax and then the apples you pick cost $2.25 per pound.
Apple varieties include Spartan, Macintosh, Empire, Honey Crisp, Granny Smith, Ambrosia, Red Fuji, Cortland, Golden Gala, Jona Gold and more from their over 10,000 apple and pear trees. They also have a large amount of pumpkin, squash and gourds available that you can pick from.
In addition to the fruit picking they offer wagon rides, a corn maze, trails, and corn pit play area for children. They also have a food stand selling fresh corn on the cob and apple cider. There is also a large sunflower field for pictures.
