Sehr schöne und ruhige Schleuse mit dem Kraftwerk dazu. Ist immer einen Besuch wert.
"Das Kraftwerk:
Das zur Staustufe gehörende Laufwasserkraftwerk befindet sich auf der rechten Flussseite und ist seit 1930 in Betrieb. Das Kraftwerk gehört der Rhein-Main-Donau AG und wird von der Uniper Kraftwerke GmbH betrieben. Bei einer Fallhöhe von 4 Metern erzeugen die beiden Kaplan-Turbinen eine Ausbauleistung von 3,04 MW, was einem Regelarbeitsvermögen von 18,6 GWh pro Jahr entspricht.

The run-of-river power plant belonging to the barrage is located on the right side of the river and has been in operation since 1930. The power plant belongs to Rhein-Main-Donau AG and is operated by Uniper Kraftwerke GmbH. At a head of 4 meters, the two Kaplan turbines generate an expansion capacity of 3.04 MW, which corresponds to a standard work capacity of 18.6 GWh per year.
