Medieval font in the south aisle St Michael & All Angels' church, Taddington. This octagonal font has been dated the 15th - 17th century. The bowl is carved with plain squares, and set upon an 'hour-glass' like plinth. The bowl is lead lined, a reminder of the past's importance of lead mining to the parish.
